Concept
ReDelta is a floating recycling station at Al-Sha'eer Island in the Nile Delta, conceived as a last line of defence against pollution for Egypt's food basket. Water-driven catchers around a central amphitheatre collect Nile waste, which is recycled into more than 80 products from water hyacinth, plastic, fabric, organic waste, leather and glass, sold in an on-site market.
