About MASAR Competitions
MASAR Competitions connects architects with competitions, runs its own, and keeps every edition’s results in a permanent archive in English, Arabic and French.
A platform for architectural competitions: it lists open ones with their full terms, runs its own from brief to result, and keeps every result in an archive whose links never change.
Published competitions with their terms, deadlines and fees as stated by their sources, with a last-verified date.
In the platform’s own competitions, registration and submission happen here. For external ones, we point you to the organizer’s verified destination.
Every edition’s results and projects stay on stable pages. A new edition never replaces an older one.
“Dialogue with the Nile” is the platform’s first competition, and it returns to the Nile each edition with a new question.
MASAR Competitions grew out of MASAR 101, an education and learning platform for architecture and interior design students that started two years ago and has grown beyond its first vision.
Round 1 — Zamalek: a creative commercial project on the Nile, run under the previous name MASAR 101 with El Maghraby Design House; its winners were announced at a closing ceremony.
Round 2 — 2026: The Nile Floating Market. A competition for architecture students on the Cairo Nile front: 65 entries were submitted, the jury selected 24 Finalists, and the results are announced at the closing ceremony.
